Jo is an actor, comedian and writer
Her short comedy film ‘Spinster’ that she wrote, directed and performed, as her stand up character Mary Magdalene, has been shortlisted for the ‘World Wide Comedy Short Film Festival’ in 2018.
She has also written, produced and performed five, four star, Edinburgh Festival shows and was a ‘So You Think That’s Funny?’ Finalist.
She recently entered the exciting world of children’s books. ‘Standing on Custard’ and ‘A Squirrel’s Tail’ are available via www.standingoncustard.com and are huge hit with, children, parents and teachers. Her third children’s book ‘Molly, Chip and the Chair’ will be released in 2018.
She also loves radio and podcasts she co-presented on Fubar with Lucy Porter, JLC and Mark Dolan. She likes nothing more than chewing the fat as a guest too and has been heard on the radio waves as a guest on Geoff Lloyd’s Absolute Radio show.
She is currently working on her new stand up show ‘Peculiar’, another adult comedy book and more children’s stories.
