Last year she debuted a new show “Peculiar” performing at the Brighton Festival and at London venues. Here’s a teaser from the first preview.
A short comedy film “Spinster” she wrote, directed and performed, as her character ‘Mary Magdalene’, won the London-Worldwide Comedy Festival’s Best Shorter Short in 2018.
She has written, produced and performed five, four star, Edinburgh Festival shows and was a ‘So You Think That’s Funny?’ Finalist.
Jo’s a big hit with the kids too. Her children’s books “Standing on Custard”, “A Squirrel’s Tail” and “Molly, Chip and the Chair”, are available via www.standingoncustard.com
She also loves radio and podcasts – she co-presented on Fubar with Lucy Porter, JLC and Mark Dolan. She likes nothing more than chewing the fat as a guest too and has been heard on the radio waves as a guest on Geoff Lloyd’s Absolute Radio show and his podcast, “Reasons to be Cheerful” with Ed Miliband.
A force to be reckoned with. Brilliantly funny, and this heartwarming show will leave you with a smile on your face many hours after you leave the theatre. Everything Theatre
