David is an actor and comedian probably best known for performing in the Award-Winning Sketch group Late Night Gimp Fight. The group formed in late 2008 and were nominated for the Best Newcomer Award at the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and went on to win the Chortle Award for Best Character or Sketch Act in 2011.
As part of LNGF, he has completed five sold out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and four runs at Soho Theatre, directed by Steve Marmion, Artistic Director of Soho Theatre. He has performed at the Edinburgh, Leicester, Brighton, Galway and Melbourne Comedy Festivals as well as playing to over 10,000 people at festivals such as Reading, Leeds, Bestival and Latitude.
David, along with three other Gimps, took part in series four of “Impractical Jokers”, which aired on both Channel 5 and Comedy Central in 2016.
David trained at Drama Studio London and has worked on many short films, online videos and the feature length improvised comedy “Aimless”, in which he played the lead, which won an award for Best First Feature at the International Film Festival, Ireland 2009.
He is also a veteran of the Edinburgh Fringe, having performed there since 2001. Stage credits include “Blue Remembered Hills”, “After the Hole”, a children’s show called “The Big Filling”. TV Credits include “Britain Unzipped” and “BBC 3 @ The Fringe”.
