Charlie is a comedian, presenter, improviser and beatboxer.
Charlie has done stupid voices for Radio 4’s “Newsjack”, written for “The Now Show” and has performed on BBC Three as part of “BBC Presents Edinburgh 2014“, as well as appearing in the “Javone Prince Show” and creating his own shorts for the channel as part of ‘Robin and Partridge’.
His professional silliness continues doing voices for lots of things like Xbox, veg box companies and Sports Direct. Charlie also presented the Visa Improv-athlon – an absurd, mime, improvised game-show during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games… which gathered 50 million views in two weeks.
Charlie first started improvising 10 years ago as part of The Oxford Imps, and has since performed regularly in London and was part of Free Association Harold Team, The Cartel.
Charlie presents events for a number of clients including The Moth, The New Scientist, Tough Mudder, Red Bull and Facebook. He hosted and co-produced game show Rebel Bingo from its inception in a church hall in Islington to accidentally taking over the world with shows in NY, LA, Vegas and Rio and a TV pilot for Sky. He has also written immersive shows especially for the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Roald Dahl Estate, Penguin Books and directed the world’s first virtual reality immersive theatre show “Virtually Dead” which sold it out its two month long London and Paris runs.
