Catriona recently finished an international tour with Tall Stories Theatre Company as the narrator/musician in the highly acclaimed “The Snail and the Whale”. The tour ended in a sell-out run in the Pleasance Grand at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Previous to this, Cat’s performance opportunities varied from modelling to stand-up to a Nandos commercial. She also appeared in the short film “Sparrow” directed by Alessandra Kurr for Try Hard Films and performed with Embolon (the team behind fringe favourite, Beard) in “For Him”, “For Her”, which had its debut at Edinburgh’s Summerhall in April 2016.
Catriona is also joint Director of the comedy production company, By No Mean Feet who brought “The Canon: a Literary Sketch Show” to the Edinburgh fringe in 2014 and “I Would” the following year, for both of which she wrote, directed, produced and performed. According to Theatre Guide London, “The Canon” was ‘One of the cleverest and most erudite revues since at least the days of Fry and Laurie,’ while Brian Donaldson of The List described the I Would team as ‘a crew with a future.’ “The Canon” is currently in pre-production for London and Edinburgh runs in 2017.
Cat graduated from Cambridge University in 2015 with a degree in English literature. She spent most of her time at Uni messing around on stage and fully intends to justify jeopardising her academic career by making an actual career out of messing around on stage (/film).
