Event Navigation

It’s 1942 and a horde of Yankee servicemen have just arrived in England – where the locals speak a strange dialect, boil all their food, and talk endlessly about the weather.

Inspired by the 1942 pamphlet given to GIs on their way to, Blighty, the show will take the audience back to the British home front, so get ready for a night of joyous laughter and downright silliness as a crack team of experts attempt to explain the British way of life. A rib-tickling new show for adults and families by Fol Espoir.

“Wholly idiotic, including a helpless laughter that almost incapitates the audience…an unforgettable experience.”  ★★★★ The Stage

Running Time: 95 minutes

Stephanie O’Keeffe

I am delighted that Stephanie O’Keeffe has joined CHM. Stephanie created, co-wrote and stars in this year’s hilarious Channel 4 Series “Girls Go Trolling”, which sees Stephanie’s character lead her female troll team of reporters, as they prank unsuspecting members of the public, and Steph really puts her years of honed improvising skills through their paces.

Steph also regularly presents for the Sky 1 TV Show “Whatsup!”. Of all her funny reports so far, Steph’s particularly proud of getting a very fun tongue-and-cheek interview with the lovely Carrie Fisher, a Hollywood star whose reputation for avoiding interviews precedes her.

Hatty Ashdown

I now look after the fabulous Hatty Ashdown.

Creator and co-writer of the Comedy Central sitcom , “Give out Girls”; she is also a stand up – compering Lucy Porter’s regular lunchtime gig for parents and babies – Screaming with Laughter – and can be seen gigging at comedy nights in London.

Hatty starred in BBC Radio 4 comedy “Romance & Adventure” by Josie Long and was Dawn in the sitcom “Marshal’s Law”.

Hatty has a passion for radio and hosts “The Other Woman Show” – a female panel show – on Resonance FM and here is the latest episode: The Other Woman Show

Judith Faultless

Judith is taking her first solo play to the Hen & Chickens on 16 & 17 August as part of the Camden Fringe. BOO HOO is a semi-autobiographical account about adopting as a single woman…

Since adopting her son, Judith has been overwhelmed with interest in her story and she now writes for Standard Issue on the subject – here’s her most recent post Just Me & My Boy
